Happy Dance on the Friday!

What a great day weather-wise.  Could be a bit cooler but that will happen tonight reaching the 40 some mark.....YEA!  This Autumn girl is loving this.  I feel as though I made it thru another retched....strong word I know, but fitting, summer!  Add to that all the changes and new things and I would say a glass of wine and a hallelujah are in order.

August is heading out fast people and I am also fine with that. I know we have 2 weeks and then the holiday weekend before I start school and working.  Praying I can handle it all and do well....I believe I will!  Thank you

Another painting done and ready for show!

The painting entitled the, DANCE OF TIME

It was her time, to dance the dance that she new was in her, had been in her for so long.  She had waited her time, dreamt of this moment! This season to come for her.  Her dance, her dreams realized.  She knew she could do it!  Just the chance, the opportunity, the open door to enter into.  Not that she wanted to be in any kind of spot light, she just had to , no, needed to do what God had placed within her, finally.....deep breath out has if she had been holding it for a million years, and with tears shining in her eyes....she danced.

Wednesday...hump day...the time has moved fast...so I think it should be Thurs.  Did get another painting done last night...YEA!  Will try for one tonight?? We'll see, pretty "used up" today.  Got my textbooks ordered, used, thank you, for school as well....yes, productive day, what with work  too.  Continue to create people, yes doodling at your desk counts.

Looking so forward to the rain that we still so need and the cooler weather that's to follow!  Makes me think again of my favorite time of year. Autumn.  Apples, spices of cinnamon, nutmeg, apples, burning candles of those same scents.  Some different clothes besides the ones that have "stuck" to you in all this heat we have had this summer. 

I am already ready to put my garden to bed.  It was not a good garden here this year, and I thought my last 2 years were bad.  Oh well, the time will again come when I will be excited to "do it again".  We gardeners are optimists, you have to be LOL!

Hope all of you are having a good week, try to breathe, get your prayers in, lov on yourself and keep going.  You're doing GREAT!!!  I just know it!!!  hugs

A new Monday!

Today I started my new job, it was fast paced and busy....It was good though.  I have a lot to remember and learn...new jobs are like that....sigh

Good thing I can get used to this before I will be starting school.  Changes are good....I keep telling myself that.  Otherwise I think you too easily get old and stagnent in your thinking and in your outlet on life. Or how you do things,  like new things.  I love to do projects, artful projects.  Good for the soul and the brain...since most people are not creative, atleast that is what they say.  I think that everyone is creative to some degree, they just haven't found their fit in that area yet.  Busyness gets in the way, and all the half toos of life in general.  So people! Try a something artful...you will like it....wink wink...

It used to be the blacksmith shop.  They have a Wine Festival the weekend of the 15th of September...don't miss it!

Working it out art-wise

Time to get the photos uploaded of my recent paintings.  They are very different then what I have done in the past.  But I think that is good in general.  The 25 plus years of painting for clients homes teaches you diversity.  Doing all the different faux painting, layering, etc, and now putting it into my art is a good place to work from....design, and painting style speaking.  

This one is my favorite, Dare to dance....there is glitter, and real beading. blues, greens, and a vintage feel to it.  It  is so hard to get it show up in a photo...sigh.

 More glitter and beading along with a dress of tulling and whiteness.....a mothers dreams stored in this look for her daughters!  I wrote a story with each painting using hand painted tags.  Wish I would of copyed down what I wrote  HA!

 

The next one is a study in purples and touches of greens... The background is a bit darker than what you see.  The cone flowers are etched and then painted.  Reminds me of a summers night with the glow of the moon hitting then just so.

 

 

 

Another favorite, lots of colors in the "night" background, leaves gently floating down.

Lots of layering, some mettalic, and a good message to be reminded of.

 

This was me working thru a different and freeing style, I do like it alot....it doesn't show well unfortunately in photo form...it resonates differently with each individual.

 

 

This one is texture and botanicals...a white on white with a bit of green and brown for enhancement....Looks so good on the wall!

Time to just DO IT!!

Well I am now up and running again....and running is what I am doing in my life as well....I  am starting a new job, part time., and am signed up for college!  Never to old!  I will have 3 classes, math, composition 1, and an art course.  I am very excited and a bit nervous.  But I am trusting that all things will work out for good and I will find my new groove in all these changes.  I have been painting for clients as well and did get 7 canvas paintings done and delivered to a shop in Cedarburg to sell...delivering my "babies" was hard and exciting at the same time.  We will see what comes about!

Now to see if I can keep up with everything, and if I can get my pictures of my art off my camera, and onto here!!! LOL!
